Triumphant evening for Black Country pupils

The achievements of Black Country pupils were celebrated on November 26th at the Black Country Challenge Student Awards 2008, which took place at The Public in West Bromwich.
Headteachers and Pupils from across the region attended the awards ceremony to hear who had won prizes that ‘money can’t buy’. The prizes included working with the Birmingham Conservatoire, making a film with Iceni Productions, working for the Express and Star, seeing your winning script performed by actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company or spending the day at the National Physical Laboratory, sponsored by SERCO. Representatives from each of the sponsors attended the red carpet event to present their awards.
