Learning Support Staff will be appointed through the Black Country Supply Service at levels 2, 3 and 4.
Pay & Conditions
As part of our agreement with Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton Local Authorities, the Black Country Supply Service pay our Classroom Support Workers the Local Authority current rates of pay.
In accordance with changes to legislation, with effect from April 2008 Classroom Support Workers will not be allowed to pay into the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Professional Development
All staff who choose to work for our Supply Service are eligible to attend our free training programme. This takes the form of a series of twilight sessions across the academic year. The content of sessions is determined by needs identified by our supply staff.
