Pay & Conditions

As part of our agreement with Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton Local Authorities, the Black Country Supply Service pay Teachers pay and conditions to our supply teachers. In accordance with this agreement Teachers are also allowed to pay into the Teachers Pension Scheme. Under Teachers Pay and Conditions the deduction of pension is automatic, should you wish to opt out of the Teacher Pension Scheme then it is your responsibility to complete a Teachers Pension Status form and return it to the Supply Team.

Professional Development

All staff who choose to work for our Supply Service are eligible to attend our free training programme. This takes the form of a series of twilight sessions across the academic year. The content of these sessions is determined by needs identified in our supply staff.
